Grandparents/Special Person Day
On Tuesday we had a very full classroom! We were very lucky to have 17 Grandparents and Special People join us for an hour in our room. We read a story, introduced our guests, then had a big circle time with questions about what life was like when they went to school. After that we made some special Christmas frames together to hang on our tree. We all went out to eat lunch together on the field, like a big picnic. We are all so lucky to have such special people in our lives and loved sharing our time with you in Room 3.

ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful time at Grandparents Day! My favourite things were: hearing all the different stories from the other grandparents, helping to make the picture frame and having lunch on the field with everyone!
It was really cool to hear how far some whanau had come, some all the way from Auckland.
