We all tried SO hard and were all winners! Mrs Ray is so proud of us.

Daffodil Day & Happy Birthday Stefan

On Friday we had a special day for Daffodil Day.  We were able to wear mufti and bright a gold coin to raise money for the cancer society.  We went out with the entire school to draw chalk flowers and we had a lovely time.

Making Terrariums

Mrs Ray has been recycling the coffee jars from the staff room and today we used them to make terrariums.  Inside we put stones, soil and then a small succulent plant from Mrs Ray's sisters farm.  We love how neat they look and cannot wait to see some roots grow.

Look how big our crazy cress heads have grown!  We got to take them home today after a crazy photo =)

Making Bread

Last week Mrs Ray brought her bread maker into school and we got to watch it make bread.  We learnt about yeast and how is makes the bread grow.  The bread tasted delicious and smelt even better.  We wrote some great stories about making bread.

Learning The Beat

We have been learning how to find the beat in a song.  We found the best way was to stamp around in time to the music and play our instruments.  

For The Birds

Today we watched this great little short film and had a good talk about what we thought was happening in it.  We talked about what it feels like to be left out, how we can make others feel included, and how we can ignore behaviours we don't like.

Window Art....Happy Birthday Amelia.......Delilah Learns Sign Language

On Friday we created some magnificent windows and flower pots.  We learnt how to make paper flowers and added them to our window pots.  We LOVE how neat they look hanging on our real front window.

 Happy 6th Birthday Amelia!!!! We love having your kind and caring nature in Room 3.

In the weekend Delilah learnt some sign language with her Mummy and Daddy.  She shared it with the class and Mrs Ray!  Clever cookie.
