Room 17 and Room 3 Ran our school assembly today. We had such a great time and our speakers spoke so well !

And our poem we wrote together:
A dinosaur came to room 3
How lucky can we be?
She came in our door
and let out a huge big ROAR
I am glad to meet you.
What kind of dinosaur are you we asked
She said I’m Doris the Stegosaurus!
I want to learn maths, reading, writing and art
We said we would help her get a good start.
She sat down on the mat with a crash and a bash
Her tail swished in our faces
Mrs Ray was not happy about that.
We would have to teach Dorris the virtues
before she came onto the playground and hurt all you’s!
Be respectful and responsible and resilient too
Show courage and caring and do not chew…..

phew!
We have fun now with Dorris our dino.
We have learnt lots about her and what she knows.
Next time you come into room 3.
Make sure you say Roar to Doris the Stegosaurus.
